Data Collected
The Choices & Consequences application respects user privacy. No personally identifiable data (name, email, user ID) is collected or shared.
Ping System
When you send your location via the app, your approximate geographic location and an optional photo are sent to the server to be temporarily displayed on the map. This data is automatically deleted after expiration. No IP address or personal identifier is stored.
Use of Remote Service
The application communicates with a remote server controlled by the project editor. This server has the purpose of:
- Providing game images
- Verifying the validity of answers provided by players
- Receiving and displaying location pings on the map
No personally identifiable data is transmitted or stored during these exchanges.
No Third-Party Services
The Choices & Consequences application does not use any advertising, analytics, or tracking systems. Submitted photos may be automatically shared on the project's Twitter/X account (@__H2CO3__).
